The accident occurred at about 7:40 pm on December 21, 2013 High Road in Berlin, CT.  The pedestrian was reportedly walking with his from behind. He was later pronounced dead.  The suspect fled the scene but was later arrested.  The suspect has been charged with drunk driving among other charges.
