Attorney Joseph La Bella is a life-long resident of Connecticut. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a cum laude graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center. For over 25 years he has practiced law in the State of Connecticut. In 2009 Attorney La Bella joined the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the bar of the federal courts, the U.S. District Court, Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Attorney La Bella has maintained an active trial practice in Connecticut since 1986. He has successfully handled a wide variety of personal injury and property damage cases representing both insurance companies and individuals. He also has a wealth of experience in the general practice of law and has served as a court-appointed Attorney Trial Referee and Special Master.
Attorney La Bella is invested in his community. He served for 10 years on the Board of Finance and five years on the Board of Selectmen of his home town, Marlborough. Along with his wife, Irene, he is a coach in the Future Problem Solving Program, a creative and critical thinking program for 4th through 12th graders. He has also been a volunteer soccer and baseball coach in Marlborough’s youth programs.
