Plainfield October 29, 2013 multi-vehicle crash involving school bus

The crash occurred at about 3 pm on October 29, at the intersection of Route 12 and Cemetery Road. The school bus was reportedly stopped at a red light. Another vehicle was attempting a left turn from Route 12 onto Cemetery Road when he was struck a southbound vehicle. The impact reportedly pushed the car into the school bus’ front bumper. News reports note that the driver of the vehicle making the left turn was 86 years of age. No injuries were reported by the bus occupants.
